Dr. Albert Kim

From the start, Dr. Albert knew that a healthcare career was something that he wanted to pursue. After attending UCLA and earning his undergraduate degree in Psychology, he enrolled in the NYU College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He has been working in the field for over a decade now and opened Highline Dental in 2018. His ultimate goal is to provide affordable, quality dental care near Long Meadow Farms.

When he isn’t busy treating patients at Highline Dental, Dr. Albert is spending his time reading, drawing, or with his beautiful wife and son. He loves the warm, welcoming atmosphere the Houston metroplex has to offer.

Dr. Albert and the rest of the Highline Dental team are looking forward to meeting you!

At Highline Dental, our team wants to make sure every patient feels comfortable and confident about their dental care, even before they step through our doors. If you have questions or concerns about your oral health or the services we provide, you can easily get the answers you need through a phone call. That said, some people may be busier than others, or they prefer researching online instead. That’s why we’ve taken the time to gather and answer some of the most common questions we get from our patients near Long Meadow Farms.

How Do I Get Emergency Dental Care?

Firstly, you’ll always want to reach out to our office if you’re experiencing pain or any other dental emergency. Someone on our team will be able to pencil you in for the earliest available appointment and/or provide you with instructions on how to manage your situation. For more life-threatening cases, such as a dislocated/broken jaw, difficulty breathing/swallowing, or excessive bleeding, call 911 and/or head to your local ER. They might not treat your dental problem, but they can stabilize your condition until you can visit us for help. At Highline Dental, we offer evening hours and welcome same-day appointments so that you can regain oral health as soon as possible.

How Do I Find the Best Place to Get Dental Work Done?

To start, you should clearly define what you think is important for you when undergoing dental care. This can be a combination of various factors, including the hours of operation, location, payments and fees, insurance, cleanliness, and safety. You should also establish the kind of dental services you’re interested in or require, such as if you want to improve your smile with cosmetic dentistry or need to replace a missing tooth with dental implants. Last but not least, get familiar with the dental team you’ll be receiving care from. Do they prioritize personalized treatments? To get a better feel for the team, be sure to read their bios on their website to learn about their credentials and education.

How Much Does it Cost to Get a Tooth Extracted Without Insurance?

In many cases, a tooth extraction in the United States can cost anywhere between $150 and $400, but this can depend on several factors, including geography and the patient’s oral health. The specific amount might also change if you require additional services, such as anesthesia or sedation dentistry. If you have dental insurance, you might expect at least a portion of the total price of your procedure to be covered by your coverage plan.

What Do You Do If You Can’t Afford a Dentist?

Our team wants to ensure that every patient has the chance to receive the high-quality dental care they deserve. If you have dental insurance, then you should consult your provider or even our front desk staff about the details of your coverage so that you can make the most of your benefits. However, we know that not everyone is insured. That’s why we also extend several money-saving offers to help new patients receive certain treatments at a lower price. We also have our In-House Dental Savers Plan that allows you to enjoy significant discounts for a low annual fee. You can even consider signing up for SunBit financing so that you can split the cost of your dental treatment into monthly, low-to-no-interest installments.
